In a distressing incident, police in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, have identified three to four suspects who allegedly shot a video of a woman scrap collector's rape. Efforts to apprehend these individuals are ongoing, according to officials.
The prime accused, Lokesh, violated the woman after coercing her to consume alcohol in the Agar Naka area. This grievous act came to public attention when the video was disseminated on social media, prompting swift police action. Lokesh has since been detained.
Authorities have assured that the woman's health is stable and she remains at home. Lokesh had vowed to marry the victim before committing the crime. Bystanders filmed the incident rather than intervening, further complicating the case, noted City Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Mishra.
