Woman Allegedly Assaulted and Later Tonsured

A woman in Vishnugarh was allegedly sexually assaulted by a man named Bachunath and later had her head shaved for complaining about the incident. Six people, including Bachunath, have been arrested. Police have registered an FIR in the case.

A woman was allegedly sexually assaulted in her house in Vishnugarh and was later tonsured for reporting the incident, police confirmed on Wednesday. Six people have been arrested in connection with the case.

Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar Anand stated that a woman claimed Bachunath entered her house and molested her. When she complained, the accused and his family members shaved her head.

A First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged at Vishnugarh police station, resulting in the arrest of Bachunath, his father Guddunath, a female relative, and three others.
