A tragic incident occurred in Madhya Pradesh's Katni district where a 35-year-old man fatally shot his six-year-old son before ending his own life. The man's wife narrowly escaped as the bullet missed her, police reported.
The incident unfolded in the Nai Basti area under Kotwali police station limits early Wednesday morning, according to Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Santosh Dehariya.
ASP Dehariya revealed that Mayank Agrahari killed his son Shubh and attempted to shoot his wife Manvi Agrahari, but the bullet missed her. Following the shooting, Mayank turned the weapon on himself. Investigations are ongoing to determine the reasons behind Mayank's drastic actions.
