Aryan Mishra, a 19-year-old teenager, was tragically shot dead by alleged cow vigilantes during a car chase on the highway near Faridabad on August 23. His father, Siyanand Mishra, remains uneasy, seeking answers to why none of the other passengers in the vehicle were harmed.

The police arrested five individuals—Saurabh, Anil Kaushik, Varun, Krishna, and Adesh—on August 28, suspected of chasing and shooting Aryan. Although no explicit accusations were made, Siyanand alluded that the family of his landlord, present in the car, may have more details on the matter.

Siyanand Mishra questioned the legitimacy of cow vigilantes' actions, stating, "If my son was indeed mistaken for a cattle smuggler, who gave them the right to shoot?" The case has garnered attention, with over 1,000 people joining a WhatsApp group initiated by Aryan's brother to seek justice. The police continue to investigate the incident thoroughly, as per officials.
