In a poignant call for justice, Gurlad Singh Khallon led a protest march in Delhi, pressing for accountability from Congress over the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. Accompanied by riot victims and their families, the march began at Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, symbolizing a collective resolve for justice and lasting accountability.

The march ended with a public memorandum addressed to Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, urging an official apology for the party's 'role' in the tragic events. Sikh leader Khallon criticized Priyanka Gandhi for neglecting the Sikh plight while advocating other causes. He questioned, 'Why has the suffering of Sikhs been forgotten by the Gandhi family?'

Khallon highlighted the dire conditions at Delhi's Widows' Colony, a stark reminder of the enduring scars of the genocide. The protest gained momentum after a BJP MP gifted Priyanka Gandhi a tote bag linked symbolically to the riots, emphasizing an urgent call for Congress to acknowledge and atone for its past.
