Man Kills Wife Over Suspected Illicit Affair, Arrested

In a shocking incident, a man named Gulfam allegedly killed his wife on Tuesday, suspecting her of having an illicit relationship with his nephew. The crime took place at her maternal home in Katra Shamsher Khan in the Kotwali Sadar area.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sanjay Kumar Verma reported that Gulfam attacked his wife, Farheen Bano, with a sharp weapon, resulting in fatal injuries to her head and neck. Bano succumbed to her injuries at the district hospital.

Neighbors and family members apprehended Gulfam and informed the authorities. The police are now proceeding with further legal action.
