Gurjar, who hailed from Badanaya Gaun village in the Hindoli police station area, had been missing for the last three days and was absent from duty for months.

The police recovered the body after being alerted by locals, with initial reports suggesting drowning as the cause of death. The definitive cause will be determined following a post-mortem and further investigation.
