Two unknown projectiles struck a merchant vessel approximately 70 nautical miles northwest of Yemen's port of Saleef, according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) on Monday. Damage control efforts are underway following the incident, with a third explosion reported nearby but no casualties.

In a separate report on Monday, an incident was reported 58 nautical miles west of Yemen's Hodeidah, with investigations currently being conducted by authorities. This follows a series of attacks on international shipping by Iran-aligned Houthi militants since November, in solidarity with Palestinians amid the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
