Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma Advocates Zero Tolerance for Crime

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized that maintaining law and order in Rajasthan is the top priority of his administration, urging the police to adopt a 'zero tolerance' policy against crime, according to an official statement.
During a review meeting of the state's law and order situation at his office on Saturday night, Sharma instructed the police department to provide a safe environment for the public. He directed additional director generals (ADGs) to visit their respective ranges and conduct meetings with district officials to enhance law enforcement efforts.
Highlighting the necessity of preventing cybercrime, Sharma stressed public awareness and stringent actions against offenders. He also called for prompt measures in narcotics-related cases and combatting illegal mining. The Chief Minister pointed out the importance of monitoring social media with the help of IT experts to stay current with evolving dynamics. Additionally, Sharma reiterated the government's commitment to women's safety, directing expedited formation of the Kalika Unit. The meeting was attended by senior officials, including Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department Anand Kumar and Director General of Police U R Sahoo.
