Delhi Police Helps Crack Major Ganja Smuggling Operation in Rajasthan
A team of Delhi Police, while searching for a robber in Rajasthan, assisted local police in uncovering a large-scale ganja smuggling operation. They intercepted a truck carrying over 1,500 kg of illegal ganja. Two men were arrested and further investigations are ongoing.

In a significant operation, an alert team from the outer-north Delhi Police helped the state police of Rajasthan crack a major smuggling racket involving over 1,500 kilograms of ganja, officials confirmed on Friday.
According to law enforcement, two individuals, including the truck driver, were apprehended for transporting 1547.55 kilograms of illegal ganja in the vehicle.
On Tuesday, the Swaroop Nagar Police Station in Delhi received intelligence about a wanted robber in Rajasthan's Nagaur. Following the lead, a team led by an inspector-level officer was dispatched to Nagaur. En route, the team stopped at a hotel in Ajmer and overheard suspicious individuals discussing the smuggling of ganja. The vigilant officers followed the suspects' truck and alerted the local police station at Padu Kalan, Rajasthan. A police picket was setup on the Ajmer-Nagour Road, where the suspicious vehicle was intercepted and brought to Padu Kalan police station. A thorough search resulted in the recovery of 1547.55 kilograms of illegal ganja. Two suspects, Puranmal Dangi (36) and Deep Singh (24), were detained and are currently being questioned by the Rajasthan police. Investigations continue.
