Jaskirat Kaur, a 33-year-old of Indian descent, has admitted to killing her 10-year-old daughter, Shay Kang. The tragic incident occurred in the West Midlands region earlier this year.
Kaur, also known as Jasmine Kang, faces manslaughter charges after Shay was found with fatal injuries at their Rowley Regis home on March 4. At Wolverhampton Crown Court, Kaur pled guilty, citing diminished responsibility. Her sentencing is scheduled for October 25.
