Four men were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly chasing girls in two cars in Haldwani, located in Uttarakhand's Nainital district, according to the police.

Nainital's Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prahlad Narayan Meena addressed the incident, directing his personnel to take immediate action after a video of the event went viral on social media.

The incident occurred on the Mukhani road of Haldwani on Tuesday night, and the SSP made it clear that such anarchy would not be tolerated, promising strict actions.

The viral video shows the men repeatedly opening the doors of the moving cars, hanging out, and waving their hands in the air. The arrested individuals have been identified as Narendra Bisht and Rohit Tiwari from Rampur Road, Pankaj Rawat from Friends Colony, and Aman Kapoor from Bareilly Road. The cars used in the incident have been seized.
