Labourer Electrocuted, Five Injured in High-Voltage Accident in Rajasthan
A labourer, identified as Rahul Bairwa, was electrocuted to death and five others sustained burn injuries when they came into contact with a high-voltage wire at a construction site in Rajasthan's Dausa. A labourer was electrocuted to death and five others suffered burn injuries after they came in contact with a high-voltage wire at an under-construction house in Rajasthan's Dausa on Wednesday, according to local police authorities.
The incident occurred while they were working on the roof of a house in Chandpur village. The deceased was identified as 25-year-old Rahul Bairwa, as per police reports.
'Mahendra Meena, Sukhbai Mahavar, Lalita Mahavar, Lokesh Prajapati, and Suresh Meena sustained burn injuries due to the electric shock. They were admitted to the hospital for treatment and subsequently discharged,' a senior police officer detailed.
A case has been registered against the house owner and the contractor in connection with the incident, police confirmed.
