Man Arrested for Allegedly Killing Wife and Child in Arunachal Pradesh

In a chilling case from Arunachal Pradesh's Longding district, a man was arrested for allegedly murdering his wife and child. The accused, identified as Gangngam Gangsa, a 35-year-old resident of Khanu village, was taken into custody by police on Saturday.
According to Superintendent of Police Dekio Gumja, the authorities were alerted when Mangu Pansa filed an FIR after Gangsa circulated a picture of his deceased family members in a WhatsApp group, confessing to the crime. A police team, along with complainant Pansa and executive magistrate Bini Shiva, arrived at the scene and discovered the bodies.
Evidence, including a local 'dao' and a spade, was seized. Post-mortem examinations were conducted, and the bodies were handed back to relatives. An ongoing investigation aims to uncover the motive behind this gruesome act.
