New Guidelines Aim to Boost Financial Transparency for Indian NGOs

NEW DELHI - 13 September: Aria CFO Services has introduced the 'True Cost Computation and Communication Guidelines for NGOs in India' to address the challenges of financial transparency and efficiency within the social sector.
Unveiled in New Delhi, the guidelines come at a crucial time as India strides towards its 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India) vision. NGOs contribute nearly 2% to India's GDP yet often face considerable hurdles in financial management.
This first-of-its-kind effort includes input from funders, NGOs, and Chartered Accountants, and aims to standardize financial presentations, enhance budgeting accuracy, and foster stronger partnerships between stakeholders.
