Tragic End to Live-In Relationship in Karvi

A man has been arrested for allegedly killing a 30-year-old woman, with whom he was in a live-in relationship, in Karvi. The suspect, Vijay Raidas, struck the victim, Sapna Raikwar, on the head in an inebriated state, leading to her immediate death. A police investigation is ongoing.

In a tragic incident in Karvi, a man was taken into custody for allegedly murdering a woman he was in a live-in relationship with. The brutal event unfolded late Thursday in the Vidyanagar area of Chitrakoot district.

The accused, Vijay Raidas, reportedly attacked Sapna Raikwar on the head with a shovel's stick while intoxicated, resulting in her instant death, confirmed Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar Singh.

The victim had been living with Raidas for the past 18 months amidst legal disputes with her husband. Authorities have registered a case, and the body has been sent for post-mortem examination. Further investigations are ongoing.
