The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) has announced the GST Analytics Hackathon, a nationwide initiative aimed at fostering innovation in tax compliance through predictive analytics. This challenge is open to Indian students, researchers, and professionals from startups and companies, encouraging them to develop a predictive model for the GST analytics framework.

Key Details of the GST Analytics Hackathon:

Eligibility: Open to Indian nationals affiliated with academic institutions or business organizations.

Prizes: A total prize pool of ₹50 lakhs is up for grabs, with the first prize being ₹25 lakh, the second prize ₹12 lakh, the third prize ₹7 lakh, and several consolation prizes worth ₹1 lakh each. Additionally, a special prize of ₹5 lakh will be awarded to the best performing all-women team.

Registration and Participation: Participants can register and access detailed information, including datasets and competition guidelines, on the official website: GST Analytics Hackathon.

The hackathon will run over a 45-day period from the start of registration to the final submission of prototypes.
