Statue Vandalism Sparks Outrage in Rajasthan

In the early hours of Thursday, a statue of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar was vandalized under the jurisdiction of the Kaman Police Station area in Rajasthan's Deeg district, according to local authorities.
Upon learning of the incident, local residents staged a protest and blocked a road by burning tires. BJP MLA from Kaman Nauksham Chaudhary was among the large crowd that gathered at the site.
MLA Chaudhary addressed the attendees, demanding strict action against those responsible and threatening to resign if the accused are not apprehended within 24 hours.
Additional Superintendent of Police, Deeg, Satish Yadav, confirmed that four teams have been deployed to identify and arrest the vandals. He noted the absence of CCTV footage and eyewitnesses but stated that police presence has been increased at Ambedkar Park as a precaution.
