Bullets were discovered in the bodies of six Israeli hostages retrieved from Gaza, according to autopsy reports released by the Hostage Families Forum campaign group on Thursday.
This revelation comes as U.S. President Joe Biden urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to expedite a truce deal with Hamas to ensure the release of remaining hostages held by Palestinian militants.
Of the 109 hostages believed to be in Gaza, about a third are thought to be dead. The Hostage Families Forum criticized the government for failing to secure their loved ones' release, despite multiple rounds of internationally mediated ceasefire talks.
