In a shocking incident in Delhi, two men have been arrested for allegedly murdering their 35-year-old sister in a suspected case of honor killing, authorities revealed on Thursday.
The officials identified the accused as Abdullah (24) and Arib (22). CCTV footage played a crucial role in tracing and apprehending them, stated Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) M Harsha Vardhan. He confirmed that there were no signs of sexual assault.
The brothers reportedly killed their sister on suspicion that she was having an affair following her divorce. The woman was found smothered in her Hauz Qazi home, with the exact cause of death pending a post-mortem report. The case has drawn significant attention, and investigation continues.
