Masked police officers in Romania executed fresh raids early Wednesday at the residence of divisive internet influencer Andrew Tate, who is awaiting trial on charges of human trafficking, rape, and forming a criminal gang to exploit women sexually.

Romania's anti-organized crime agency, DIICOT, said it conducted searches in Bucharest and Ilfov, investigating allegations including human trafficking and money laundering. Hearings will follow at DIICOT's headquarters.

Tate's spokesperson, Mateea Petrescu, acknowledged the raids, stating charges included human trafficking and money laundering. Forensic teams and dozens of officers were present at Tate's property, with ongoing procedural rights and the presumption of innocence emphasized.
