Romanian police raided the home of internet personality Andrew Tate on Wednesday as part of a new investigation into crimes, including human trafficking and money laundering, according to the influencer's representatives.
Tate, a self-described misogynist with a massive following, was previously indicted along with his brother Tristan and two Romanian female suspects for human trafficking, rape, and forming a criminal gang. They have denied these allegations.
Romania's Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) revealed conducting four home search warrants within Ilfov county and Bucharest. The investigation focuses on crimes involving an organized criminal group, trafficking of minors, and money laundering.
