Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday instructed state officials to ensure stringent legal actions against those who attempt to evict the poor from their land.

Adityanath affirmed the protection of the poor's land and pledged housing under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana for those in need. These announcements came during the Janata Darshan at Gorakhnath Temple, where the Chief Minister addressed grievances from around 300 people, directing officials to resolve issues impartially and promptly.

With instructions to tackle land encroachment firmly, Adityanath reiterated his commitment to eradicating injustice and ensuring public welfare. He emphasized that no one's medical treatment would be hindered due to financial constraints, reiterating public health as a governmental priority.
