Police Nab Cattle Smugglers After Intense Gunfight
Two suspected cattle smugglers were apprehended following a gunfight with police in Kithaur. One suspect was injured. Three accomplices escaped. Recovered items include a pistol, cartridges, and smuggling equipment. Efforts to arrest the remaining suspects are ongoing.

In the early hours of Tuesday, two suspected cattle smugglers were arrested after a gunfight with police in Kithaur, officials reported. One of the suspects sustained gunshot injuries during the encounter.
According to police sources, the shootout occurred in the Kithaur area when police, acting on a tip-off, attempted to thwart a smuggling operation in the forest of village Radhna. Three other suspects managed to escape under the cover of darkness.
The arrested individuals, identified as Khalid and Munner from village Radhna, were found in possession of a .315 bore country-made pistol, ammunition, and smuggling equipment. Authorities have seized their motorcycle and are working to capture the escaping suspects.
