The Kerala police have registered a case against Major Ravi, an esteemed Malayalam film director, after he allegedly defrauded a financial firm of over Rs 12 lakh.

The Irinjalakuda police took action following a directive from the Judicial First Class Magistrate, sparked by a complaint from the financial firm outlining Ravi's promises to provide security services through Thunder Force Ltd.

Police reports indicate that despite promises, neither the services were delivered, nor the money returned. Major Ravi is yet to issue a statement regarding these allegations.
