Three individuals, including two shooters, have been arrested for allegedly killing a history-sheeter over a personal rivalry in northeast Delhi's Zaffrabad, police reported on Friday.

Local police apprehended two shooters, while their facilitator, who provided the two-wheeler, was captured by the Crime Branch. The suspects are possibly affiliated with jailed gangster Hashim Baba, but further verification is underway, as stated by the police.

Rizwan, the victim, was shot in the head by two men on a scooter in Chauhan Bangar area. He had three criminal cases registered against him at Seelampur Police Station. Deputy Commissioner of Police (northeast) Joy Tirkey stated that a dedicated team was formed to apprehend the culprits quickly, identifying two suspects through CCTV footage analysis.

Acting on secret information, police laid a trap in the Loni Road area and arrested the accused on a scooty. The suspects, Suhail and Mehran, both 22 and residents of Chauhan Bangar, were found in possession of weapons. Suhail, a food delivery boy, and Mehran, who works in a plastic molding factory, confessed to committing the crime due to an old feud. Sahib (18), allegedly involved in the case, was also nabbed by the crime branch.
