Assam CM Sarma Nears Job Promise Fulfillment with New Recruitment Figures

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on Tuesday that his government has provided over 99,000 government jobs during their tenure, nearing the promised one lakh figure made before the Assembly polls.
Speaking at an appointment letter distribution ceremony for 1,127 jobs, Sarma stated that they are confident the one lakh job milestone will be achieved within the next two months. He also revealed that another 50,000 appointments would be made next year as a 'bonus' for the people of Assam.
Sarma emphasized that the recruitment and transfer processes are being made transparent and corruption-free, with a new portal launching on October 2 to facilitate mutual or group transfers of government employees.
