Court Takes Cognisance of Charge Sheet Against Kejriwal's Aide in Assault Case
A court has acknowledged a 500-page charge sheet against Bibhav Kumar, an aide of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, for allegedly assaulting AAP MP Swati Maliwal. The case, which involves serious charges under the Indian Penal Code, will be scrutinized on August 24. Kumar has been arrested and remains in custody.

The court on Tuesday took cognisance of a 500-page charge sheet against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's aide, Bibhav Kumar, in an alleged assault case involving AAP MP Swati Maliwal.
Presiding Metropolitan Magistrate Gaurav Goyal accepted the final report, scheduling the document scrutiny for August 24.
Court sources noted that evidence includes digital and video records along with Kumar's mobile phone and sim card. Kumar, arrested on May 18, remains in police custody amid an ongoing investigation led by a female additional DCP-level officer.
