Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday called for greater synergy among security and law enforcement agencies to dismantle terror networks and their supporting ecosystem.
Shah, presiding over a high-level meeting, directed heads of security and intelligence organizations to adopt a 'whole-of-government' approach for national security.
He reviewed the intelligence bureau's Multi Agency Centre (MAC), emphasizing its key role in proactive, real-time intelligence sharing. Shah urged for a unified platform integrating law enforcement, anti-drug, cybersecurity, and intelligence agencies for decisive action.
He also advocated forming a team of young, tech-savvy officers to utilize big data and AI for security measures, stating the MAC framework would undergo major advancements under Prime Minister Modi's leadership.
Shah called for boosted efforts through quick responses and follow-ups on shared intelligence.
