Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's father, Poonam Chand Yadav, passed away at the age of 100 after a prolonged illness. He is survived by three sons and two daughters. Senior political figures expressed their condolences. The last rites will be performed at the Kshipra river.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's father, Poonam Chand Yadav, passed away on Tuesday evening following a prolonged illness, according to official sources.

Poonam Chand Yadav, who lived a full century and led an active life, is survived by three sons and two daughters. His wife predeceased him.

Upon receiving the news, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav departed for Ujjain immediately after a cabinet meeting. The last rites are scheduled to be performed on the banks of the Kshipra river.

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Congress veterans and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Ministers Digvijaya Singh and Kamal Nath, as well as state BJP President Vishnu Dutt Sharma and former Union Minister Arun Yadav, extended their condolences.
