Union Home Minister Amit Shah Visits Raipur for High-Level Meetings
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on a three-day visit to Chhattisgarh. During his visit, he will participate in several meetings focused on anti-Naxal strategies, cooperation expansion, and infrastructure development in naxal-affected states.

In a significant visit, Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on Saturday. Shah, accompanied by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, visited Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya Ashram.
Shah's three-day visit to Chhattisgarh includes a series of high-level meetings aimed at reviewing development initiatives and combating Naxal insurgency. On Saturday, Shah will participate in an interstate anti-Naxal review meeting. Chief Minister Sai told ANI that the Union Home Minister's visit encompasses a review meeting involving seven Naxal-affected states and discussions on cooperation.
According to official sources, the review meeting will evaluate measures against Naxal insurgency and progress in infrastructure projects in Red corridor areas. The meeting will see the participation of high-ranking officials from states troubled by Left Wing Extremism, including Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Telangana, and West Bengal. Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, Director Intelligence Bureau Tapan Deka, and CRPF Chief Anish Dayal Singh are also expected to attend. The Home Minister is scheduled to chair a meeting on cooperation expansion and inaugurate the Narcotics Control Bureau's Raipur office.
