The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) issued a public notice on Wednesday in newspapers, urging involved parties to participate in an online hearing for 32 complaints. UP RERA highlighted that multiple stakeholders have missed previous hearings, warning that further absences could result in unilateral decisions.

Of the slated hearings, 19 will take place at the Head Office in Lucknow and 13 at the Regional Office in Gautam Buddh Nagar, per UP RERA's statement.

"Parties who fail to appear on multiple dates at various UP RERA benches are being given a final opportunity to attend via public notice in newspapers. Their non-appearance delays the resolution of grievances, adversely affecting the interests of the complainants and stakeholders, contrary to the RERA Act's objectives," UP RERA stated.

Complaints at the Head Office in Lucknow involve companies including Vasundhara Lotus Infratech Pvt Ltd, Polars Infradevelopers Ltd, and Yazdan Constructions, among others. Complaints at the Regional Office in Gautam Buddh Nagar involve entities such as Satya Homes Pvt Ltd and New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA).

"To join the e-court hearing, parties will be sent a link to their registered mobile number and email two days before the scheduled date. They can attend from any location by clicking this link. UP RERA conducts home buyer complaints online via the e-court model, eliminating the need for parties to visit the office," UP RERA noted.

"If promoters fail to attend even after this public notice, the benches will issue a unilateral decision considering the complainants' interests, holding promoters responsible under the RERA Act," warned UP RERA.
