Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday underscored that no new traditions during festivals should harm the sentiments of people from other religions, calling for strict action against anarchic elements to maintain peace and harmony.

Speaking at a high-level meeting, Adityanath asserted, 'Anarchy cannot be accepted in the name of religious events.' He emphasized respecting religious faith while ensuring no incidents hurt other religious communities.

The Chief Minister reviewed measures to ensure public safety, and the protection of crops and livestock during floods. He called for immediate support to affected families and insisted on proper coordination among officials to avert further disasters, emphasizing the necessity for anti-snake and anti-rabies injections in flood-hit areas.
