In a significant development, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) disclosed on Monday evening that Hamas operatives in Gaza had strategically located explosives approximately 45 meters from the Indonesian hospital in Jabalia, northeastern Gaza.
During a tactical operation conducted last week, IDF forces, specifically the Givati Infantry Brigade under the jurisdiction of the 162nd 'Steel' Division, successfully executed their mission aimed at thwarting terrorism near the hospital. They managed to eliminate fleeing terrorists from the hospital premises, apprehended dozens more, and dismantled explosive traps set by militants.
This revelation is backed by video evidence showcasing Hamas militants engaged in placing explosives in proximity to the healthcare facility. The IDF condemned this act as a blatant violation of international law, criticizing Hamas for exploiting civilian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip for its militant agenda.
