Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accorded a ceremonial welcome at the Chancellory in Warsaw on Thursday. Upon his arrival, he was greeted by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

During the second day of his visit to Poland, PM Modi has a packed schedule that includes talks with President Andrzej Duda, a luncheon hosted by Tusk, and a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Modi will also engage with business leaders and Polish influencers.

On Wednesday, PM Modi addressed the Indian diaspora in Warsaw at an event organized by the Indian community. He highlighted that this visit marks the first by an Indian Prime Minister in 45 years and spoke of India's achievements over the last decade. Modi confidently projected that India would become the world's third-largest economy in the coming years and laid out his vision for India to be a developed nation by 2047.

Modi also mentioned that Kabaddi has become a unique bond between the two nations, with Poland set to host the championship for the first time. The Prime Minister's visit coincides with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between India and Poland.

The Indian diaspora greeted PM Modi warmly, with chants of "Bharat mata ki jai" resonating in the air. Wrapping up his commitments in Poland, PM Modi will proceed to Ukraine upon the invitation of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. (ANI)
