Speaking in the Washington DC metro area on Monday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi highlighted the pivotal role of the Indian diaspora in the US, describing them as a crucial bridge between India and the United States. Gandhi commended their dual identities and contributions to both nations.

'You are the bridge between these two great unions of states. We understand the difficulties and struggles you faced to come here, and you make us very proud,' he stated. The Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha stressed the Congress party's message of spreading love and not hatred.

Gandhi sharply criticized the BJP's stance on dual identities and the RSS's divisive ideology. 'The RSS is saying that certain states, languages, religions, and communities are inferior. Our fight is about what kind of India we want—one that respects all its diverse traditions and languages,' he argued.
