Former US President Barack Obama has emphasized that the forthcoming Presidential election will be a 'tight race,' urging voters to 'fight for the America they believe in.'

'For all the incredible energy we've generated over the last few weeks, for all the rallies and memes, this will still be a tight race in a closely divided country,' Obama stated at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

He also encouraged voters to stand up for the America they cherish, contrasting this with Donald Trump's indifference. 'Here's a 78-year-old billionaire who has not stopped whining about his problems since he rode down his golden escalator nine years ago,' Obama commented, criticizing Trump's grievances and fears of losing to Kamala Harris.

Obama lauded Kamala Harris, his former Vice President, indicating the 'torch has been passed.' He expressed his hope for the Democratic National Convention attendees, highlighting Harris's readiness to lead the nation. 'We have a chance to elect someone who has spent her entire life trying to give people the same chances America gave her,' he said, signaling a robust endorsement of Harris.

'I don't know about you, but I'm feeling fired up. I'm feeling ready to go,' Obama concluded, rallying enthusiasm for the upcoming election on November 5, where Harris stands as the Democratic nominee following Biden's endorsement and substantial support within the party.
