Chief Minister M.K. Stalin posted a video clip on Wednesday of himself riding a bicycle in Chicago, earning widespread appreciation on social media. The footage also caught the attention of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who expressed a wish to cycle with Stalin in Chennai.
Stalin, on a US tour to attract investments to Tamil Nadu, was seen cycling along the Chicago shoreline. In his post, he captioned the video: ''Evening's calm sets the stage for new dreams.'' While numerous social media users liked the video, Rahul Gandhi, tagging the clip, asked, ''Brother, when are we cycling together in Chennai?'' Stalin invited Gandhi to join him for a ride and extended a warm offer of South Indian lunch at his home.
The exchange highlighted the cordial relationship between the two political figures. In June, Stalin had promised sweets to Gandhi on his birthday. Earlier this year, amid Tamil Nadu elections, Gandhi had given sweets to Stalin, reinforcing their mutual respect and camaraderie.
