Abu Dhabi [UAE], August 12 (ANI/WAM): Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, reiterated that under President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's leadership, the UAE regards its youth as a sustainable asset. Emphasizing investment in their future skills aligns with the country's vision for comprehensive development and global competitiveness.
Speaking to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) on International Youth Day, Al Neyadi highlighted youth empowerment as a legacy dating back to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who considered youth as pivotal to the nation's achievements. This year's event coincides with the launch of the 'National Youth Agenda 2031', aiming to position Emirati youth as global role models in values, economic and social contributions.
The Agenda outlines five goals for youth: driving national economic growth, adhering to Emirati values, making a global impact, mastering advanced technologies, and achieving high health standards. Al Neyadi also emphasized the International Youth Day theme, 'From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development', praising the UAE's advancements in digital, AI, and modern sciences for youth empowerment.
