President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the UAE welcomed Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr, head of the Department of Interior and Local Government of the Philippines, at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi. The meeting took place on September 11.
Abalos conveyed the greetings of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr of the Philippines and expressed hopes for the ongoing prosperity of UAE-Philippine relations. Sheikh Mohamed extended his greetings to President Marcos and wished for continued progress for the Philippines and its people.
The deliberations focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and exploring new avenues to benefit both nations. Key members of the Abu Dhabi leadership, including Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other senior officials, were also present during the discussions.
