Global Health, renowned for its Medanta brand hospitals, announced a 5% increase in profit after tax, reaching Rs 131 crore in the September 2024 quarter.
Compared to the Rs 125 crore profit after tax recorded in the July-September quarter of the previous year, the healthcare provider has shown notable growth. Additionally, the company's revenue from operations grew to Rs 957 crore, up from Rs 850 crore in the same quarter last fiscal year.
Pankaj Sahni, CEO and Director of Global Health Group, attributed this success to the robust growth momentum across their network hospitals. The organization continues to invest in advanced technologies, enhance clinical capabilities by recruiting senior clinicians, and expand capacity by increasing bed numbers. As of the latest trading session, the company's shares have climbed 3.44% to settle at Rs 1,071.10 on the BSE.
