In a tragic incident on Monday night, a speeding Porsche collided with two scooters near Sector 4 in Chandigarh, leading to the death of a young man and injuring two women, according to local police reports.
The accident occurred at approximately 8:00 PM, when the Porsche, driven by 38-year-old Sandeep Babuta, first struck a scooter carrying Ankit, then lost control and crashed into another scooter with two young women, before finally hitting a pole.
Ankit succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, while the women are being treated for leg injuries. Authorities have registered a case as the investigation continues, with no evidence of alcohol involvement reported by DSP Updaypal Singh.
