In a decisive move, the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has unveiled a comprehensive list detailing over 300 incidents of jihadist attacks on Hindus across India. The list, released by VHP's Joint General Secretary Dr. Surendra Jain, spotlights growing concerns over the safety of Hindus and denounces the alleged silence of secular and pro-Jihadist parties.
Dr. Jain warned that in their quest for political power, these parties have fueled a potentially devastating conflict, pushing the nation towards civil war. He emphasized the need for respect towards the Constitution and national traditions as a prerequisite for peaceful coexistence. The documented attacks occurred between January 2023 and Chhath Puja 2024, revealing only a fraction of the widespread violence.
The VHP's call to action reflects a broader concern about global jihadist movements, citing examples from regions like Kashmir and Bengal, and attacks linked to groups like Hamas. Dr. Jain criticized the hypocrisy of these aggressors adopting the victim narrative and called for the global community to counter this threat by recognizing its deep-seated hatred towards non-Muslims.
