Known as Vivah Samaroh, this annual ceremony will be particularly special this year with the addition of a Tilakotsav ceremony, enhancing the spiritual significance of the event.

An official announcement from the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has set the tone for the festivities, stating, "On the auspicious day of Vivah Panchami, Janakpur Dham will witness the landmark wedding festival of Prabhu Shri Ram and Maa Sita, complete with a Tilakotsav ceremony." This marks the first time such a ceremony will occur before the Vivah Utsav.

The Trust revealed that 251 tilak-hars hailing from Janakpur will journey to Ayodhya, carrying 501 distinct offerings, including traditional clothing, jewelry, sweets, fruits, and other items, ahead of the November 18 ceremony. The storied connection between Janakpur and Ayodhya, which dates back to the Treta epoch, will once again come alive with vibrant celebrations.
