The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has sharply criticized Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun following his threats to target Ayodhya's Ram temple. VHP international president, Alok Kumar, expressed confidence in India's capacity to firmly deal with any such intimidation.
Kumar stressed the importance of maintaining composure, labeling Pannun's threats as the work of a 'mentally deranged' figure or a 'foreign power's agent.' He insisted that attempts to sow discord between Hindu and Sikh communities would ultimately fail.
In response to the threats, security around the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has been heightened. This development comes as officials prepare for the 'Ram Vivah' festival, amid concerns of potential violence advocated by the banned group 'Sikhs for Justice'.
