Suzlon's Girish Tanti Leads IWTMA's Executive Committee
Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman of Suzlon Energy, has been elected as the Chairman of the Executive Committee for the Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association (IWTMA). Other key appointments include Saravanan Manickam as Vice Chairman cum Secretary and K Bharathy as Treasurer. The election coincided with Windergy India 2024.

Suzlon Energy's Vice Chairman, Girish Tanti, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Executive Committee for the Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association (IWTMA). Tanti was unanimously elected by the association's members.
The IWTMA's Annual General Meeting also saw Saravanan Manickam, Country Head and Vice President of Nordex India Pvt Ltd, elected as the Vice Chairman cum Secretary. K Bharathy, CEO of Windar Renewable Energy, has taken on the role of Treasurer, according to a press release issued on Tuesday.
The meeting coincided with Windergy India 2024, an international trade fair and conference attracting over 300 exhibitors and delegates from more than 20 countries. The Executive Committee includes notable industry leaders like Envision Energy's RPV Prasad and Senvion's Amit Kansal.
