Russia has announced plans to launch a legal challenge against the confiscation of its state assets in Finland. This move comes as Ukrainian energy firm Naftogaz successfully secured a freeze on Russian-controlled real estate worth millions of dollars.
Since 2016, Naftogaz has been actively pursuing legal means to obtain compensation following Russia's annexation of Crimea in 2014. The company claims this action led to the unlawful expropriation of its properties.
The Kremlin, through spokesman Dmitry Peskov, expressed Russia's intention to contest the decision, citing its determination to protect its interests on an international front.
