Shiv Sena Member of Parliament Shrikant Shinde is set to visit Palghar and Dahanu as part of the party's ongoing Jan Samvad tour. During this visit, Shinde will engage with Shiv Sainiks, reinforcing party connections and support ahead of the upcoming elections.

Embarking on an extensive journey covering over 10,000 kilometers, Shinde's tour has spanned Northern Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Western Maharashtra, Konkan, Mumbai, and Marathwada, covering 24 districts, sources report. With the Maharashtra assembly elections a month away, political factions in the state, namely the ruling Mahayuti alliance and the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi, have intensified their campaign efforts, focusing on seat-sharing agreements amongst allies.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis of the Bharatiya Janata Party announced that seat-sharing deliberations are nearing completion. 'We've settled several contentious seats through proactive discussions, and we anticipate resolving the remaining few shortly,' he stated. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde discussed the progress with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in a recent meeting, expressing optimism about the final stage of seat-sharing talks. The Maharashtra elections are scheduled for November 20, with results expected on November 23.
