Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Mangubhai Patel, and former Chief Minister Kamal Nath, paid tribute on Friday to the late Poonamchand Yadav, father of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, at the CM House in Bhopal. Both dignitaries expressed condolences and offered floral tributes to Poonamchand Yadav's picture at the Samtva Bhavan.

In a post on X, the Governor's office stated, 'Governor Mangubhai Patel reached the Chief Minister's residence today to express condolences on the demise of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's father. Governor Patel paid a floral tribute to the picture of CM's father, Late Poonamchand Yadav.' Additionally, former CM Nath shared his sentiments on X, writing, 'In this hour of grief over the demise of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's father, I reached the Chief Minister's residence and expressed my condolences. The death of a father is a matter of great sorrow for the son. May God give him the strength to bear this sorrow. Om Shanti!'

Poonamchand Yadav passed away on Tuesday, September 3, at his residence in Ujjain district following a prolonged illness. The next day, many people visited CM Yadav's residence in Ujjain to pay their respects. The last rites were conducted on Wednesday, September 4, near the Bhukhi Mata temple on the banks of the Shipra river in Ujjain.
