Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has lauded the state's recognition under the Ease of Doing Program, which earned the Top Achievers category award for 2022-23. In a statement, Dhami highlighted the success of the single window system, which simplifies procedures for investors.
The accolade was presented by Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal during the Udyog Samagam event at Yashobhoomi Convention Center in New Delhi. Representing Uttarakhand, Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal and Secretary Industry Vinay Shankar Pandey received the award.
Uttarakhand's single window system addresses investor issues by developing favorable policies and providing online approvals. As the first state to integrate with the National Single Window System, Uttarakhand impressed with its portal's comprehensive, investor-friendly features, prompting Chief Minister Dhami to encourage continued entrepreneurship and investments in the state.
